Review by Doug Glassford
I have just finished reading – in one sitting – this wonderful story that reminds me of the reason I fell in love with superhero comics as a kid. Stan Lee would be so proud…
I had as much fun reading this as I did my favorite Marvel and DC comics back in the 60’s and early 70’s. I will not go into my favorites here as that is not the purpose of this review. The purpose is to tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed this superhero/supervillain romp. It is a relatively short book of 62 pages but perfect in length for the story content. It is after all a comic book viewed in the theater of your mind instead of graphic images… painted with powerful words of description instead of inked colors.
I have not purchased any comic books in many years, but my love for them has never waned. After reading this story I am chomping at the bit to go and look in my basement for some of my old friends once again. For that, Alex, I thank you.
The product description is well written and tells you enough of the storyline. I won’t give away any secrets. But, I will say that if you have ever loved superhero based comic books or games or the dynamic action films of the Marvel franchise… you owe it to yourself to purchase this book (less than the price of a comic book these days) and let your imagination soar, take a nose-dive, get back up and go at it again until, like all superhero stories… you win the day.
Enjoy this first work of what I hope will be many more from this very cool author.
